Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) is meant for planning, guiding and monitoring Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Enhancement (QE) activities of the colleges. National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) established to monitor standards of the higher educational institutions proposed that every accredited institution should establish an (IQAC) that can channelize all efforts and measures of the institution towards promoting its holistic academic excellence. In compliance with the norms for Higher Educational Institutions, Institute of Public Enterprise (IPE) has formally set up IQAC in May 2017, to carry forward the momentum with a host of discernible quality initiatives committed to holistic development of the institution in all its academic and administrative endeavors. The tenure of IQAC members shall be for a period of three years.

I Q A C @ Objectives

The objectives of IQAC is to facilitate the integration of the various activities of the institution and to provide a sound basis for decision making imbibing all the dimensions of service quality to improve institutional functioning.

  • To improve the academic and administrative performance of the Institute.
  • To promote and measures quality enhancement for the institution.
  • To develop quality benchmarks for academic and administrative activities.
  • To develop quality culture and quality circles in the institution.
  • To develop and maintain the institutional database through MIS.

In pursuance of its Action Plan for performance evaluation, assessment & accreditation & quality up-gradation of institutions of higher education, NAAC proposes that every accredited institution should establish an Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) as a post-accreditation quality sustenance measure. Since quality enhancement is a continuous process, the IQAC will become a part of the institution’s system & work towards realisation of the goals of quality enhancement & sustenance. The prime task of the IQAC is to develop a system for conscious, consistent & catalytic improvement in the overall performance of institutions. For this, during the post-accreditation period, it will channelize all efforts & measures of the institution towards promoting its holistic academic excellence.
